Jeanine Zicari has dedicated 29 years to Spotsylvania County Schools.  For the first 20 years, she taught special education at Salem Elementary School before transitioning to her current role as an Instructional Innovation Specialist (formerly ITRT) for the past nine years.  Throughout her tenure, Jeanine has earned notable certifications including Google Certified Trainer, Kami Certified Educator, and Nearpod Certified Educator and Coach.
In recognition of her contributions, Jeanine was honored as Berkeley Elementary's Teacher of the Year in 2021.  Beyond her professional achievements, Jeanine finds tremendous pride in her role as a mother to two sons, ages 17 and 22. Her eldest recently graduated from Christopher Newport University, while her youngest is set to begin his sophomore year at CNU in the upcoming fall semester.
