Shannon R. Wingert, M.Ed., serves as the Supervisor of Elementary School Counseling for Spotsylvania County Public Schools, a role she has held for the past four years. With over a decade of prior experience as an elementary school counselor, Shannon brings more than 14 years of hands-on expertise in supporting student well-being and school success. She is a trusted leader known for her ability to collaborate across disciplines and implement best practices that improve student attendance, build positive school climate and culture, and address complex legal concerns such as custody issues and coordination with outside agencies. Shannon’s work reflects a deep commitment to the holistic development of students and the educators that serve them. Her conference presentation will draw on this experience to offer practical insights and actionable strategies for school leaders.
